Review by hotel critic
During my recent visit to the Bonacolsi Collection, I appreciated the hotel's perfect location in the heart of Mantova, making it incredibly easy to explore the local sights. The atmosphere in the breakfast room is quite something, with beautiful old frescoes and views of the central square. While the breakfast itself was simple and unremarkable, dining in such a picturesque setting more than compensated for it. In terms of facilities, the housekeeping was attentive, ensuring everything was spick and span, and the air conditioning offered a welcome escape from the summer heat after a day of sightseeing. I also found the free Wi-Fi to be reliable, which is a must when juggling work alongside leisure. While the luxury experience comes with a price tag, the availability of basic amenities like luggage storage and flat-screen TVs speaks to the hotel’s commitment to comfort. Ultimately, the Bonacolsi Collection strikes a reasonable balance between cost and luxury, making it a worthwhile choice for anyone considering a stay in Mantova. Just something to keep in mind!
